Sure enough, Dasan and Aviram tattled to Paraoh about Moshe’s so called “crime.”
The king had a flashback to the words of his advisor years ago, “This boy must be the one your stargazers once warned us about! Now he wants your crown… next it will be your entire kingdom! Kill him now I say!”
“All right! I’ve heard enough!” Paraoh called out. “Executioner, OFF WITH THIS MAN’S HEAD!”
Moshe began to defend himself, but it was useless – like speaking to a deaf person. Paraoh refused to listen.
Sure enough, they dragged Moshe to the dungeon of the Royal Executioner.
The executioner placed Moshe on his table, lifted his sharp sword above his head and with a powerful thrust let it come down, yet nothing happened to Moshe! What a miracle – his neck became as hard as a rock and the sword bounced back and killed the executioner!
“Grab this murderer! Seize him!” Paraoh shouted, but miraculously all the guards became deaf and ignored his command.
Moshe seized the opportunity and started to run out of the dungeon. The royal guards chased after him, but CRASH! They stumbled over the furniture and crashed into the walls. Once again, HaShem performed a miracle and they all became blind, as Moshe escaped as fast as he could from the executioner’s dungeon.
