The very next day, Moshe went out to his brethren and once again, trouble was brewing. This time, it was an argument between two not very respectable Jews, Dasan and Aviram. Dasan had his hand raised up in the air and was about to hit Aviram.
“STOP you evil person!” yelled Moshe. “Why do you hit your fellow Jew?”
“Look who’s talking?” sneered Aviram. “Who do you think you are, policing and judging us? What are you going to do… kill me, just like you killed that Egyptian yesterday?”
When Moshe heard those words, he became very frightened. He realized that the word had spread, and he feared that Paraoh would soon find out.
