Word spread to all of Egypt about the grand reunion between Yosef and his brothers.
Paraoh was the happiest of all! He had a hunch all along that Yosef was no ordinary slave, but now he learned that Yosef came from a highly respected family, a great grandson of the famous Avraham. Indeed, he was fit to be second-to-the-king!
Immediately, Paraoh commanded Yosef to send his brothers back to Cana’an with royal wagons filled with the “Best and Finest of Egypt.”
Yosef presented each of his brothers with a new set of fancy clothes. And for Binyamin there were special gifts. He gave him 300 pieces of silver and 5 complete sets of clothing. He also sent to his beloved father, Yaakov, wagons loaded with sacks of grain, bread, and fine aged wine.
“Have a safe trip my dear brothers,” Yosef said. “And remember… whatever happened till now is a thing of the past and all for the best, even my being sold as a slave. Please, do not play the “blame game,” for this is all part of HaShem’s master plan!”
